A high-energy, emotional storyteller with Minnesota roots
“Big man. Bigger heart. Hailing from Stewartville, a small town in southeast Minnesota, Aaron Simmons is best known for his unique combination of high-energy stage presence and vulnerable songwriting. Nobody has more fun on stage, yet nobody is more in touch with the emotion his music conveys about love, loss, family, community, and chasing dreams.
Country music is storytelling, and that is what he does best.
Simmons released his debut album, "Third St SW," independently in 2020. The record peaked at #5 on the iTunes Country Albums Chart. After a few singles in 2021/2022 (including "78150" and "Nobody's Home in Wadena"), Simmons released his second independent album, "Center Avenue," in the summer of 2023.
Simmons was nominated for Male Vocalist of the Year in the Midwest Country Music Organization in 2022, New Artist of the Year in 2021, and his single “Nobody’s Home in Wadena” was nominated for Song and Music Video of the Year in 2022, as well as held the #1 position on Spotify's Local Pulse: Minneapolis chart for two consecutive weeks in August 2022.
He has lived in Nashville since 2021 and is influenced by Chris Stapleton, Caitlyn Smith, Brothers Osborne and Tenille Townes.”

🎸 SSCB is Returning to Summerfest!
Get ready, Stewartville — SSCB is taking the Summerfest stage, and they’re bringing the kind of high‑energy, crowd‑pleasing show that turns a summer night into a full‑blown party.
Don’t let the name fool you. These guys deliver seriously good music, packed with the hits everyone knows by heart. From classic rock to modern favorites, they roll through decades of iconic songs with the perfect mix of talent, humor, and “you’ve‑gotta‑sing‑along” energy.
Whether you’re dancing on the grass, singing from your lawn chair, or just soaking up the festival vibe, this is the kind of live music that makes Summerfest unforgettable.
SSCB brings together 4 members of successful original bands Quietdrive, Take Cover, and The Usual Things, to inject life back into what has become a stale and uninteresting arena of live music -- covers. With an exciting show, and a no-frills, explosive stage performance, SSCB draws on experience from thousands of cumulative shows, tours, and hard-won fans in their original acts, to rise above the monotony of the Minneapolis cover band scene.
🎤 Expect:
Big songs you love
A fun, laid‑back atmosphere
A band that knows how to get the whole park moving
A perfect cap to a full day of Summerfest activities
Bring your friends, bring your family, bring your best dance moves — SSCB is ready to rock Stewartville.
Join us at Summerfest and let’s make this the loudest, liveliest night of the weekend.
